Bowling

We took the kids bowling for the first time with some friends the other night. We had such a fun night!

Hannah got so excited every time she bowled! I didn't really get a picture that captured her excitement, but she got so giddy and jumped up and down every time she knocked some pins down. It was pretty funny!

Ellie was thrilled to get the ball all the way to the end of the lane. Don't be too impressed...it looks like she is about to get a strike, but really, her ball was going so slow that it stopped right there.
It looks like Zach had fun watching everyone bowl, too!

Where's Zachary?

Hannah and Ellie sometimes like to "make Zach happy" after he wakes up from his nap. This usually means includes emptying the contents of his room into his crib and jumping in with him. Zachary actually LOVES it. He laughs so hard when they play with him. It is so much fun for me to see the kids all playing together...even if it does mean a big mess to clean up afterwards!

Can you tell he's having a good time!?!

Ellie's Stuck!

I have been letting Hannah and Ellie stay together in their room during nap time lately. Of course they don't sleep at all, but this seems to have helped Ellie to be able to fall asleep a little earlier at night. They have actually been doing a very good job playing nicely together! During their nap time today, I heard Hannah knocking on her door and yelling "Ellie's stuck!" When I opened their door, this is what I found.

Ellie somehow got herself stuck in a box of pull-ups in her closet. I thought it was pretty funny!

Of course, Hannah wanted to get in on the pictures, too! Life is always interesting at our house!

Painting Begins!

Well, after A LOT of hard work and many long hours, we are finally ready to paint the basement. Hannah and Ellie were VERY excited to get to help.

Hannah and Ellie thought the buckets of paint made great chairs.

What great helpers! They thought it was so much fun to draw on the walls, and it was fun for us to be able to include them a little more in the basement process.

Ellie has always been a little mischievous when it comes to bedtime. She really doesn't seem to need as much sleep as the other kids, and that can sometimes get her into trouble. We were at some friends' house, and we put Ellie to sleep in one of their bedrooms with a bookshelf in it...I guess she was pretty busy in there!
