Fun with Cousins and April Fool's

Katie, Blake, and Brenna came to visit today.  The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins!  Somehow I didn't get any pictures of Blake, but here are some cute ones of the girls with Brenna.

I played an April Fool's joke on the kids for supper tonight.  Can you guess what it was?  The "pie" was actually meatloaf with mashed potatoes on top, and the "grilled cheese" was actually shortcake with orange frosting in the middle.  I told the kids that they could eat dessert first tonight, and they were so excited.  Hannah took one bite of the "pie" and said "This is not yummy!"  They thought it was fun once they realized the "grilled cheese" was actually dessert.

Zach's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Zachary's 1st birthday this weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Glace.  I can't believe he is already 1 year old!  What a blessing he has been to our family...his contagious smile and laughter have brought us so much joy over the last year.

Zach loves Jasper, so I made him a dog birthday cake.
Of course we had to get some pictures of him in that cute hat!  It looks like he was posing, but he was really trying to take the hat off.

Ellie was helping Grandma take pictures...I'm sure they got some interesting photos!

Zach love to climb anything, so this rocking chair was a great gift for him.  He was so proud of himself every time he climbed up.

Swim Lessons

Hannah and Ellie took swim lessons from Amy Gilbaugh during her spring break.  They were both very excited to swim every day.  Hannah now has the doggie paddle down!  If she would just decide it is okay to put her head in the water, she would be swimming!

Baby Chicks

Some of our friends from church, Tim and Dawn Stultz, invited us over to see their baby chicks tonight. We had such a great time! The kids loved getting to touch the baby chicks!

Waterpark

On our last night in Florida, we met the Safly's at a hotel/waterpark in Orlando. The girls had so much fun seeing Paige again! What a great way to end our vacation!
