Glace Family Christmas

We had so much fun celebrating Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Glace!
What a full house! Grandma and Grandpa with all of the grandkids. Blake, Hannah, Cainan, Brenna, Boaz, Zach, and Ellie.
Our family.
The kids loved opening presents! Hannah and Ellie each got a bear they can build themselves.
I love this expression on Ellie's face.
The kids all got these "talkie talkies" from Great Grandpa and Grandma.

Zach got a lot of "boy" Christmas presents! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma...now you can actually tell that we have a boy by looking at our toys! Zach was thrilled with these Tonka Trucks.
Can you tell he's excited!?!

Hannah and Ellie were so excited about their "princess dolls."

The girls have plenty of dress up clothes, so we decided Zach needed some boy dress up clothes, too. Grandma made some VERY cute outfits for him!
What a handsome little cowboy!

Turtles

11/7/09
As part of Hannah's homeschooling, we are focusing on a different aspect of God's creation each week. This week we were learning about turtles, so we decided to make some by painting some paper plates to use for their shells. Thanks goodness for washable paints!

What a messy boy! He loved every minute of it, too!

The finished product. Great work, kids!

Marshmallow Boy

I think that Zach just looks so adorable when he has all of his winter gear on. The poor kid can hardly move with all of those layers, but he doesn't seem to mind. He loves to play out in the snow as long as he doesn't get any on his hands.

Homemade

10/31/09
I decided to make Hannah and Ellie's halloween costumes this year, and I actually think they turned out to be very cute! They loved being cupcakes, but were a little afraid that people might try to eat them. While trick-or-treating, they kept telling people that they shouldn't eat them.

Zach was a cowboy. He looked pretty cute in his cowboy hat!We went trick-or-treating with our friends, Paige and Alaina.

After a while, Zach and I came back to the house to pass out candy. He was in such a goofy mood...I just had to post these pictures!

Carving Pumpkins

10/31/09
We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins with the kids this year! We like to draw different shapes on a paper, and the kids choose which shapes they want for their eyes, nose, etc. Here are a few pictures of the kids choosing the faces for their pumpkins.

Hannah doesn't like to reach into the pumpkin, but Ellie wanted to give it a try.

Zach even got to carve a pumpkin!
Ellie's finished product!
