Snowman

2/21/10
We had such a snowy winter this year, but most of our snows were either too wet or too dry for building a snowman. We finally had a great "snowman building" snow, so Hannah couldn't wait to start!

The finished product! I think it turned out pretty well! Hannah made sure that the snowman had a hat and a scarf, too!
She loved this snowman so much!
Zach wanted to help so badly. Poor kid...his parents wouldn't let him help! He always thinks he wants to play in the snow, but absolutely HATES to touch the snow with his hands (even with mittens on)!
Ellie is our artist, and she decided that she would rather color than go outside in the cold.
When they were done, Greg took Zach outside to look at the snowman. That was enough to make him a happy boy!

Cousins

2/19/10
My kids absolutely love their cousins, and they talk about them all of the time. (No joke, I really think they talk about their cousins every day!) We had a great time getting together at Katie's house for the day! The moms decided to keep things simple and have a little indoor picnic for lunch. Aren't they all so adorable!?! I really do cherish these times of getting all of the kids together...I just wish it happened a little more often! The kids played so well all day long. Thanks, Katie, for having us over!

We also got to celebrate Blake and Boaz's birthdays while we were together! Happy birthday, boys! We love you both!

Valentine's Day Party

2/16/10
If you know my kids (especially Hannah), you know that they LOVE friends, and they LOVE to give gifts, so we just HAD to have a Valentine's Day party! We had quite a full house, but the kids didn't seem to mind! They had such a good time playing games, eating snacks, and opening their Valentine's cards!
Here is the whole crew during snack time. What a group!
The kids were so excited to open their cards!

My Valentine

2/15/10
Look at what my Valentine gave me for Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day Cards

2/14/10
We decided to make our own Valentine's Day cards this year. I got this cute idea from Family Fun magazine, and I think it turned out to be very cute!
Hannah and Ellie both worked VERY hard on their Valentine's Day cards! They wrote all of their friend's names and signed their names on each card! Great job, girls!

I love this picture...you can tell Ellie wasn't very excited about posing for another picture!
Hannah, on the other hand, was very proud and wanted to show off her work for the camera.
The finished product! I think they turned out very well!

Ice Skating

2/13/10
Hannah and Ellie have been asking to go ice skating for a very long time, and today, they finally got to try it out!
Hannah was so excited...she could hardly contain herself!
Trying to walk on the skates. It wasn't quite as easy as she thought it would be!
Hannah and Daddy had so much fun skating together. She sure wanted to hold on tight! Hannah was so proud of how big she was, and she was actually pretty steady on her skates!

Ellie's turn was next. She wasn't quite as cautious as Hannah. She refused to let Greg hold on to both of her hands (she only wanted him to hold on to one)! She did pretty well, but she took quite a few tumbles. She didn't mind, though. She always got right back up to try again.

If you look closely, you can see all of the bumps and bruises. Poor kid! She was such a trooper, though!

Sleepover

2/12/10
The girls had their first sleepover at our house. Grace, Greta, and Zeke spent the night at our house, and we had such a great time! The kids played so well together, and the girls were so excited to all sleep in the same room. I couldn't get a very good picture, but I thought they were all so cute sleeping together!
