Happy Birthday, Zach!

3/13/10

I can't believe my little boy turned two today! Zach, we love you so much! You bring so much joy and laughter into our lives. You are almost always smiling and laughing about something! You love to tackle, play with Jasper, sing songs, swing, read books with mommy, play with cars, trains, and balls, and do everything your older sisters do. Your favorite songs are He's Got the Whole World in His Hands, This Little Light of Mine, Jesus Loves Me, Old McDonald, and any song with the word Bible in it (Bible Book Bop, B-I-B-L-E, etc...you combine them all into one song). You are all boy, but you have a very sweet side, too. You are such a joy! We love you!

Zach loves trains (choo choos), so naturally he got to have a train birthday cake! He absolutely loved it!

Hannah was thrilled that her lips turned colors from the frosting.
Hannah and Ellie sat with Grandpa and Grandma while Zach opened his presents.
Zach was so excited for his new camping chair.
Rain boots! They were a little big, so he had a little trouble walking in them (he fell over about every other step).

Zach opened all of his presents with his bike helmet on...so cute!
Grandpa and Grandma also gave him a remote control car. He had a lot of fun driving it!

Girl's Night

3/10/10

Greg took Zach to church with him last night so I could have a girl's night with Hannah and Ellie. They decided that they wanted to get curlers in their hair and have their nails painted.

Ellie's hair isn't very long, but we managed to get it into the curlers!
Hannah acted so grown-up...she sat so still and handed each curler to me as we went. She was so proud herself!
I just love these two pictures, because you can see the look of excitement of both of the girls' faces.

Hannah and Ellie loved their curly hair in the morning. I think they looked so beautiful!

Circles

Zach spent about an hour today running in circles around the table. I just sat and watched the entire time! This boy just cracks me up...how could he be so excited to run by me EVERY time!?! Zach, I love the joy that you bring to our family!

Train

2/27/10

I love watching their little imaginations at work! Hannah, Ellie, and Zach all worked together to make this train. Zach was the "ducter" and Hannah, Ellie, and George were the passengers. I love how they even hooked the booster seat to the boxes with the straps!

Gooey Gunk

2/26/10

Boaz and Cainan gave the kids a box full of fun projects for Christmas. One of those projects was "Gooey Gunk."

Ellie measured the glue.

Hannah measured the water.

We had a blast with the finished product! The kids loved making it stretch and squishing it between their fingers! I can't even count the hours they have spent playing with their Gooey Gunk! What a fun project!
